Great news!  PTC’s efforts to eliminate Java applets continue through the Windchill 11.1 builds and Critical Patch Sets.  At 11.1 M010, the only remaining applets are Advanced Assembly Editor, MPMLink applets, and Product Structure Explorer.

PTC has stated these applets will be eliminated by Windchill 12.0.  This is highly likely since Windchill 12.0 is being developed against Java 11 and Java 11 doesn’t support Java applet technology.
